RANDY PAUSCH, “LAST LECTURE” PROFESSOR – R.I.P.

When something really powerful comes along, even if it has already had massive exposure, it’s important to still acknowledge it.

When Carnegie Mellon University professor Randy Pausch learned he only had months to live, he turned his last lecture in September 2007 into a lesson on life.

The lecture, titled Really Achieving Your Childhood Dream, became an Internet sensation. It was viewed over 3.4 million times on YouTube.

Randy Pausch died of pancreatic cancer yesterday. He was 47.

To acknowlege the powerful message of his ‘Last Lecture,’ in which he spoke eloquently about life lessons he learned and gave advice to students on how to overcome obstacles and achieve their own goals, the YouTube video is presented below:
