REMEMBERING SINATRA!

Our swinging MySpace buddy Dave Patrone dominates the swing culture in San Diego and beyond with his regular gigs at Stingaree downtown SD and at Clay’s in La Jolla.

He recently posted a great blog remembering Frank Sinatra. I was exceptionally moved by Dave's honesty and feeling in this piece. I think he nails what many of us feel about Sinatra in varying degrees.

PSYCHOANALYST FINGER PUPPETS!

For those of you who wish to have a hand in your own psychoanalysis, this wacky pack of puppets could be just what you need to finger things out!

You get Freud (the father of psychoanalysis), his daughter Anna Freud (a noted child therapist in Britain), Carl Jung (king of the collective unconscious) and a red chaise lounge to rest your knuckles on.

Using the box/puppet theatre in which the puppets are shipped, you can debate psychological theory, reenact the friendship and breakup of Freud and Jung, and (finger) nail down just what is wrong with you.
