IAN RANKIN ~ GRAPHIC NOVEL!DC’s Vertigo is branching out into a new line: Vertigo Crime. The label will be dedicated to graphic novels in the crime and mystery genres, kicking off with two releases on Aug. 19: Brian Azzarello and Victor Santos’ pulpy FILTHY RICH and Ian Rankin and Werther Dell’Edera’s DARK ENTRIES. The latter is a John Constantine story written by the author of the Inspector Rebus novels. Lee Bermejo will provide covers for all the releases, which will be printed inside with appropriately noir-y black-and-white art.
